Final Exam Preview

While reading these websites they mention that this is an easy project and shouldn't be difficult at all. The story is better when it is from the beginning to the end, and a pretty interesting non boring story. You do have to be specific about how you put images and movies, but it shouldn't be so hard. The 'dummies' website kind of confused me when it put all of those numbers, i needed more details like photos.
Most of what they say does make sense to me i just feel like i will mess up on it. This project seems somewhat easy but somewhat hard, hard because doing everything right. If i follow the steps i'll do pretty good, but i am not sure. These websites say it's an easy project, but they know what to do.

My Opinions Story

Should schools give out homeowrk to their children? In my opinion yes, i do think that schools should give their children homework. From my expirience of having homework wasn't the best thing for me, but i got smarter. The kids that don't do their homework for class are usually the ones to fail, and not do so great in class, or on test.

Some students think that homework is stressful. Honestly i was that kid, i thought it took up my time but really, it didn't. It helps your education, it's basically practice, it helped me alot, like if i got problems wrong well i get help with that.  Homework to me is testing your skills at that subject, so than everytime you get a homeowrk assignment you will see that your getting better.

The kids that don't even bother to do their homework flunk their test, and have a very low grade in their classes, for example my brother at the beginning of his sixth grade year wasn't doing good at all in his classes, he never did any homework, all he did was play on his ps4, go on his phone and just be lazy. When his first couple of report cards came in, my parents got mad everytime and grounded him. He realized it and knew he had to get his act together. Now he comes home with homework and works on it first thing, before he did his homeowork the school wasn't sure if they are going to pass him to the next grade, but now he is more than sure he will move on.

Highschool has a lot of work that needs to be done first thing, and the work isn't easy. Us kids have a lot of work but at least we're getting smarter. When we have test coming up, we prepare for it by studying whats on the test, and pratice with some homework and get down what we struggle on, in that case we'll ace the test. So homework also prepares you.

Some teachers don't like giving out homework, but that's becuase they see the kids don't like it, but they do it anyways. They do it because they know it helps us get smarter and practice on what we struggle the most with. I know this because plenty of times i have asked my teachers why in the world do they give us homework, and now i know why, and it's a good reason, and a reason that is right.

Students should understand that homework is helping you, not making you do work. We didn't understand before, until we saw improvement on our grades. Doing work in class is different than work at home aka homework. Work at home to me is pretty relaxing and comfortable, kind of helps me think when i am alone. Work at school is stressful, im not the type of student that likes to be around people especially if it's a big class, and noisy, than i won't be able to think.

Some teachers don't give a lot of homework, and some give too much. I still hate to get a lot of homework especially if it's just one teacher, because i have more teachers that give out homework.

1.) Some things the writers gave is to make sure your essay is something you care strongly enough about, topics that get you excited, and make it important and not boring.

2.) The writers says to put in a context that gives the reader insight to both the small moment and the wider perpective, also details that bring in the reader, so not boring.

3.) The suggestions the writer said i should use during writing the essay are ways to get your hook to attatch your reader, explain why you feel a certain way on the topic you chose, also use accurate facts, check spelling, and number, but in academic essays facts are better than opinions, but in personal essays opinion are better than facts.

• I chose the Sculptured House in Colorado US, because i thought it looked relaxing, it looked like an interesting building. When i first saw the house i was intereted in the beauty, and was wondering what the history was, why they built it on a mountain. I also was curious on why the architect built it that way.

Portfolio Analysis

b. The judges thought some of the angles nick chose were horrible, bad focus and composition.
c. The judges liked the lighting nick chose and some of the angles.
d. My impression on this photographer was that i thought Nick thought some pictures would be better up close, but some were awful.
e. I liked the lighting, but did not like some of the angles he chose.

a. The judges saw creativity as the strength.
b. I saw that there was too much photoshop, but i did like how Dustin had creativity, and the people in his photos actually did something.

a. While deciding the winner the judges had some disagrements with each other, so arguements occured, they had to look at the obvious problems in photos and little details, they also counted how many strong photos some portfolios had.

Part 2:

1.) On the boxing photo i agree with the judges on saying how the referee looks like he is as well going to box, also how your focus doesn't really go to the action.

2.) I do not agree with the judges on the photo where the women are running and some of them falling, what i dont agree on is how they say you should crop it in, i think it looks fine how it is.

• My favorite news paper is "Tyler Morning Telegraph", because its colorful, and stands out. Also because it's a big thing in the US.
• My favorite headline, is "Know Your Role", im interested in thisnews paper because it has a 'black lives matter' article, and interested in that kind of thing.
• There are three stories on the front of my favorite newspaper.
• I noticed the title is really big and noticible, same with the subtitles. I also noticed that the main story on the newspaper, the photo for that article is really big compared to the others.All of the photos on newspapers have captions below or beside the photo.
• On some newspapers, it has the text in color, and some don't. The text on these are in different places, like on the side of the photos, above or below.

Welcome Back!

This is one of my favorites because beyonce really stands out compared to the other girls, her hair and face just glows so much.

This is also one of my favorites, becuase i like how the photo brings your attention to the woman in her house, how everythings dull and shes just glowing.

This photo is one of my favorties because the chimpazee is beautiful, people dont see that often and i like how its showing the teeth.

The important news of 2016 to me was, the shooting in Dallas, Minnesota, Louisiana, and Iowa. This was a big deal, because so many people went crazy, and lives were being taken.
