Framing

I chose this photo for framing because the photo is like framing around the people that are walking.

Simplicity

I chose this photo for simplicity because, around the guy is just lines, so the guy is the center of your attention.

Lines

I chose this photo for lines, because theres alot of lines that repeat.

Rule of thirds

Academic Shoot

                                                                            Lines:
This is lines because the lockers are leading lines.

Balance:
This is balance because both sides are equally balanced.

Framing:
This is framing because its framing the couple together.

Rule Of Thirds:
This would've been rule of thirds if i just moved the camera more to the left.

Avoiding Mergers:
This is avoiding mergers becuase the water almost blends into the white in the back.

Simplicity:
This would've been simplicity if it was just the phone without the hand and if there was nothing behind.

Academic Shoot Preview

The Story: I think this photo's story is helpful people, giving out food to the homeless. I can tell because there is people giving out food to others, i say homeless because usually people give food to homeless.
Action And Emotion: I chose this photo for action and emotion because, for the action there is water floating everywhere, and emotion because the teacher and girl seems really happy and excited.
Filling The Frame: I think the frame is filled because all students are in this photo they are filling in the photo.

The Camera

1.) The camera obscura "dark room" is a way to project something on the wall. This was the first camera. The hole acted like a lens, focusing and projecting light on the wall of the dark chamber. Its a completely dark room, and a tiny hole in the wall.
2.) The modern camera came one step closer when Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens perfected the understanding the optics and the process of making high quality glass lenses.
3.) Joseph Necephor Niepce added the final touch. He added "film" to create the first succesful photograph, and the modern camera was born: glass lens, a dark box, and film.
4.) Digital cameras, light passes through the lens, and exposes the film. Thats what digital cameras have in common with Niepce's first camera.
5.) Digital camera's capture the images with an electronic sensor called CCD.

6.) Auto, the program will completely control flash and exposure. Program, automatic-assist, just point and shoot. Unlike full auto mode, you can usually contorol flash and a few other camera settings.
7.) The portrait mode is used to attempt to blur out the backround, camera will try to use the fastest available lens settings.
8.) The sports mode is used to freeze motion, camera will use the highest shutter speed possible.

9.) You should use the half press trigger on the trigger button because, faster camera response time, more control over focus, and encourages better composition.

10.) This symbol means, that there is no flash. You would use this when the mood of the photograph can sometimes be more dramatic when the natural light is used.
11.) This symbol means, the flash will automatically flash, when the camera thinks it needs more light.

12.) The picture will wash out.
13.) The picture will be too dark.

14.) The term "stop" is ued in every aspect of photography to represent a relative change in the brightness of light.
15.) 1
16.) 2

17.) More light.
18.) Less light.
19.) Before light reaches film, it must pass through an opening called "aperature".
20.) Setting the aperature opening, also known as f-stop, large opening= more light.
